SUMMER EXPERIENCES
Community! Confidence! Leadership!
Our summer sessions focus on problem solving and critical thinking while building technical industry skills. Each session is unique and produces original work for the screen and stage guided by industry professionals.
We teach skills for both cast and crew. From writing to directing, art department and special effects - we work on all of the technical skills required to make a production come together.
No two sessions are the same! Drawing from familiar stories, our cast and crew of campers support each other to build a show personal to each group. We provide a safe space for highly niche, moment in time stories specific to our audience.
Using a cumulative learning approach, we meet each participant where they are and build from there.
Each session focuses on a different skill set, that could stand on their own, but also build on each other to provide a deeper understanding and elevate creative potential. Cumulative learning ensures that each session is challenging, inspiring, and collaborative.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am-to 4pm, Friday 9-5:30 with a live show at 6.
Live Show - on the last Friday of each session families and friends are invited into the Park Village Playhouse Backyard Theater to enjoy the live show and a chance to celebrate and connect with other families.
All sessions are open to rising 1st-8th graders. Sessions offer social and peer development with supervised interaction across age levels.
Sessions are limited to 18 participants per session with a 6:1 instruction ratio.
High School Junior Counselor Positions Available for rising 9th through 12th graders. This is excellent work experience for arts and leadership focused students. Please inquire with Maddy or Ryan to Apply.

Daily Schedule
Our camps offer fulfilling days of group instruction, exploration and creative problem solving mixed with time and space for personal reflection and 1:1 camper/counselor check-ins.
Each week provides a unique daily schedule, provided to families in advance and reviewed during the daily morning circle.
About Us
Providing young creative minds a constructive space to explore, challenge, experiment, and grow - it takes a village.
Our programs are developed and run by theater, film, and media professionals who have a passion for building community and nurturing the next generation of confident, curious, and resilient young creative leaders.
Although our experiences are centered around media and theater skills, our focus is on cultivating important life skills such as: critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
We believe that learning is best done through practice and hands on experience, so our goal is to provide curious kids with unique, interactive challenges utilizing industry practices and equipment. We teach the steps, techniques, and nuance, and then we empower each player to create. We provide real-time feedback and coaching to make sure players feel confident and supported.
Players are encouraged to ask questions, engage with peers, and explore different mediums to develop a lifelong love for learning through the lens of creativity and collaboration.
We want to provide an organic and comfortable setting for self-expression, so while we search for the perfect location our experiences are held at a private residence that is no stranger to productions or groups of kids working on large scale creative projects.

WORKSHOPS
Testing the limits of how much fun you can have in a day - each workshop is centered around a specific topic and the skills found on set, on stage, in front of, and behind the camera!
Designed to inspire, develop, build on, and challenge new skills through collaboration with peers and assistance from professionals. Each session is a fun, hands-on, deep dive into the critical thought behind the different modes of storytelling.
